HMS WELLINGTON is a historic Royal Navy Grimsby Class Sloop conveniently located on Victoria Embankment near Temple underground station.
An iconic feature on the River Thames since 1948, HMS WELLINGTON provides a unique and charming venue with unrivalled views of the Thames riverscape that includes Big Ben and the London Eye to the West, and the Shard and the City of London to the East.
When you choose to have your event onboard HMS WELLINGTON, you will get close up and experience a significant part of our maritime history. You will also be directly helping to maintain this beautiful and important ship for all to enjoy.

Formerly the Captain’s Cabin flat, and was used to host dignitaries during WELLINGTON’s early years in the South Pacific. It has direct access to the foc’sc’le which has commanding views of the Riverscape and is private to the rest of the ship.
