Wellington Trust is committed to offering our FREE education sessions to as many students as possible but there are limitations that exist due to our environment
The ship is only accessible via six solid stone steps and an articulated stepped gangway. These, and the steps leading to the ship’s entrance are not suitable for those in a wheelchair or who have balance and mobility issues.
There are raised thresholds and steps within the ship which make it very difficult for those with movement issues, although extra time can be allowed for this if we are made aware at point of booking.
The ship is floating on the River Thames and will move and sway. For most this is not a problem.
We have the usual toileting facilities for males and females, but please note that there are no disabled toileting facilities available on the ship.
