Your children will briefly explore the history of the ship before thinking about why we need to use ships to bring items from other parts of the world.
• Knowledge of the five oceans
• Location of hot and cold areas of the world and how this affects trade
• Use of geographical language and compass points

- To learn about rivers, the sea and the oceans and how they connect us to the rest of the world
- Explore a wide range of spices and other goods
